LEEIP – Little Explorers Early Intervention Programme .

This is an early intervention programme for children with Down Syndrome from 12 months until 3 years of age which will be facilitated by two senior speech and language therapists both with 7 + years working with children who have Down Syndrome. 

Parents and carers will be invited to attend the small groups with their children where we will support and coach parents to develop their children’s listening, interaction, oral motor and speech skills. We will be using strategies based on the latest evidence based practice and specific to the needs of children with down syndrome. Our goal is that children and their parents will graduate through the groups and complete the programme as happy, communicating children with confident engaging parents.
