At Down Syndrome Cork, we are immensely proud of the strong relationships that we have built with a growing number of companies that include both indigenous and international corporations based in Munster. These companies are doing exceptional work in the area of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and they experience first hand the positive impact their work has on the lives of our members and also on their own team morale, engagement and well-being.  

Our CSR programme provides corporates with a much-needed break from the office environment and offers full exposure to all the benefits of working in nature. It is a great team building day and the feedback we have received from participants is exceptionally positive.  Many of our corporates come back again and again.  

Participants help with gardening, weeding, planting, harvesting, painting, cleaning and much more.

On an average year we host up to 50 CSR events, for over 1000 volunteers contributing to over 2000 hours of much needed manual labour that helps to keep our site in top condition.
