How to get Involved

One way to get involved is to become a volunteer. Our volunteers play a crucial role in helping us to deliver our programs and services. Whether you have a few hours a week to spare or can commit to a regular schedule, we have a range of volunteer opportunities available. Volunteers can assist with events, fundraising, or program delivery, depending on their interests and skills.

Would you like to support one of our educational programmes? If you can commit to 3 hours per week and have a passion for helping others, we guarantee it will be hugely rewarding.

Or maybe you have green fingers? With a three acre site to maintain, our horticultural team will always welcome offers of help.

Helping in our Shop

We have a fantastic team of volunteers running our Charity Shop in Cork City. All volunteers are garda vetted and will be required to support our adult members who work in the shop. We have an exceptional team to support you and the work in our shop is very rewarding!

Bucket Shaking

We have a number of days every year where we require volunteers to “Bucket Shake.” If you want to get involved but only have a little time to spare then this might suit you.  If you are interested and have some time to spare please email info@downsyndromecork.ie or complete the enquiry form
